The British-based Arabic news outlet Independent Arabia reported that an Indonesian passenger vessel named “Ferry Transport 8,” carrying 243 people, went missing while travelling towards the island of Borneo.
According to reports, the vessel went missing due to bad weather.
Indonesian authorities said that extensive operations had been launched to locate the vessel and rescue those on board.
