Interior Minister Mawlawi Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Qatar’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Dr. Murdif Al-Qashouti, in Kabul to discuss bilateral ties, the regional situation, and engagement between Afghanistan and the international community.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the two sides also exchanged views on security cooperation and efforts to combat narcotics.
During the meeting, the interior minister praised Qatar’s constructive role in strengthening engagement between Afghanistan and the international community and reaffirmed the importance of further expanding bilateral relations between the two countries.
