In response to the spread of anti-government protests in Tehran and their swift expansion to other cities, Iranian security officials have declared a countrywide state of emergency.

Earlier, President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that the Iran is in a state of conflict with the United States, Israel, and Europe.

In response to these tensions, widespread demonstrations erupted in the capital and rapidly spread to other cities overnight.

President Pezeshkian directed the Interior Minister to consider the legitimate demands of the protesters and take decisive steps to address them.
