Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is set to launch its long march today, October 4, from Gandi Chowk in Lakki Marwat, with the march scheduled to head toward Swabi.

According to the announced schedule, the march will pass through Karak and Kohat before reaching Peshawar on October 6. It will then proceed toward Swabi, where the party is expected to announce its next course of action. The PTI has outlined a five-day plan for the march.

PTI has said the march could be called off if the military fulfills its commitments, allows Imran Khan to meet with his family twice a week, and releases his sisters and other prominent elderly detainees.

The party has described the planned march as one of the largest protests in Pakistan’s history. PTI has warned that if its demands are not accepted, it will block roads in several major cities.
