Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement spokesman, Yahya Saree, has strongly rejected figures circulating about casualties suffered by the Houthis in operations carried out against them by forces backed by Saudi Arabia.

He said that they have not suffered casualties on the scale being reported and propagated in the media.

He added that over the past few hours, they have carried out dozens of attacks against Saudi-backed forces in the areas of Ras al-Aara and Al-Suqya, killing or injuring more than 200 personnel.

Saree said, “Our forces still maintain control over all their gains on the battlefield, and the information being circulated by the enemy about the war situation is merely ‘imaginary victories’ presented to satisfy their supporters.”

It is worth noting that Yemen’s government forces, which are backed by Saudi Arabia, have said that since yesterday they have inflicted casualties on more than 1,200 Houthi fighters.
