Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has said that movement through the Strait of Hormuz will take place according to a “defined route/plan” and with “Iran’s permission.”
He added that if the blockade of Iranian ports continues, the Strait of Hormuz will be closed.
Referring to recent messages from Trump, Ghalibaf said that the opening or closing of the Strait of Hormuz and its regulations are decided on the ground, not on social media.
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated that media warfare and managing public opinions are an important part of war, but the “Iranian nation” will never fall under the influence of such tactics.
