Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, convened a joint meeting with the foreign ministers of China and Pakistan.

According to Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, Head of Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on discussions regarding the upcoming sixth round of the Afghanistan-China-Pakistan Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue.

Minister Muttaqi emphasized the importance of political and economic relations with both countries and expressed hope for further progress in these areas.

Meanwhile, the foreign ministers of China and Pakistan reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening relations with Afghanistan based on principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect.

At the end of the meeting, all three sides agreed to enhance trade and to facilitate transit among the countries.
