Nangarhar Governor’s Media Office reports that the process of distributing land to returned families has begun in Khanki Township, located in Behsud District of Nangarhar province.
The statement notes that Khanki Township covers 3,000 jeribs of land, with 5,000 residential plots designated for returning families.
According to the approved development plan, the township will include mosques, parks, religious schools (madrasas), schools, a religious semenary (Dar-ul-Uloom), a clinic, water supply networks, telecommunications facilities, and other essential infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Urban Development and Housing confirmed that, under the leadership’s directive, the distribution of residential plots to returning citizens has started countrywide without any obstacles. He also assured that all essential living facilities will be provided in the townships.
