Mohammad Mohaqiq, leader of the Wahdat Party, has thanked Pakistan’s leadership, particularly Field Marshal Asim Munir, for helping create the conditions that led to the end of the conflict between the United States and Iran.

In a statement, the Wahdat Party, led by Mohaqiq, described Pakistan’s role in helping the United States and Iran reach an understanding as unparalleled, saying the country had worked tirelessly to help facilitate the agreement.

Mohaqiq said, “We sincerely thank the senior officials of our brotherly and friendly country (Pakistan), including Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Ishaq Dar, and Mohsin Naqvi, for the efforts they made to help pave the way for this agreement.”

In recent days, leaders of the Resistance Front, the Wahdat Party, and other groups have praised Pakistan and described Asim Munir as one of the key figures in efforts to reduce tensions between the United States and Iran.
