The Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that the General Command of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces has successfully restored an Mi-17 helicopter after 13 consecutive months of technical work, comprehensive overhaul, testing, and technical evaluations. The helicopter was rebuilt through the dedicated efforts of the command’s professional engineers and technicians and is now ready for flight.
Officials of the command praised the day-and-night efforts of the engineers and technicians, emphasizing that the process of repairing, restoring, and preparing aircraft will continue to be further strengthened.
According to the officials, this achievement represents an important step toward enhancing the operational capabilities of the country’s air force, increasing its level of readiness, and strengthening its air defense capacities.
