Following failed efforts to overthrow Iran’s government, newly appointed Mossad chief Roman Gofman dismissed the agency’s deputy director, marking the first major personnel change within Israel’s intelligence service.
Reports also note that the head of Mossad’s international relations division has resigned, while additional senior officials could be removed as part of a wider leadership shakeup.
The identity of the dismissed deputy has not been publicly disclosed.
The unsuccessful campaign against Iran has fueled criticism and exposed internal divisions within both the Trump’s administration and the Zionist regime, with officials facing growing scrutiny over the outcome.
