After the Pakistani regime launched airstrikes on residential homes in Nangarhar and Paktika, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children, it moved to justify the attacks by claiming that the strikes targeted terrorist hideouts.

The Pakistani regime shamelessly claims its strikes targeted Pakistani Taliban centers inside Afghanistan. Yet in regime’s tonight’s attack in the Behsood district of Nangarhar province, 23 members of a single family were crushed beneath the rubble, most of them women and children.

Meanwhile, in the Barmal district of Paktika province, a religious madrasa was also hit. Images from the scene show torn pages of the Holy Quran scattered among the rubble.

So far, the Afghan government has not issued an official response. However, based on past patterns, it is widely expected that the Pakistani regime may once again appeal to regional countries to intervene, aiming to halt the fighting and protect its forces.
