The media office of the Panjshir provincial government reports that the province’s capital, Bazarak, is hosting a two-day buzkashi competition. The event is attended by the province’s governor, deputy governor, director of the information and culture directorate, and other local officials. Dozens of horse riders are competing in the traditional game of buzkashi.

Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim emphasized that organizing such events is a significant step toward strengthening national unity and solidarity among the people. He also highlighted that these types of games play an important role in preserving cultural values.

The two-day buzkashi competition in Panjshir is organized by the Panjshir Sports Directorate and the Buzkashi Federation. Sixty riders are set to compete from both Panjshir and Kabul, and the event will continue for two days.
