RIA Novosti, citing its sources, reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to make an official visit to China next week.
The visit will include extensive, pre-planned discussions between Russian and Chinese officials on a range of issues.
During his trip, Putin is also expected to participate in a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
This announcement follows Putin’s recent visit to Alaska, where he met with his U.S. counterpart to discuss potential ways to end the war in Ukraine.
