A recent report from the research center of the Zionist parliament states that emigration from occupied Palestine, or the reverse migration, has increased significantly and unprecedently.

The report attributes this trend to the war in Gaza, ongoing domestic political instability, and a growing lack of confidence in the future, all of which are driving people to leave occupied Palestine.

It also notes that those departing include doctors, engineers, and technology sector specialists.

According to the figures, an average of 40,500 people left each year between 2009 and 2021. The number rose to 59,400 in 2022, reached 82,800 in 2023, and stood at 69,500 in 2024.
