With the fall of the Republic, after August 15, 2021, the leaders and followers of evil and corruption created media addresses on social media under various names against the Taliban from abroad. They did not stop at these addresses but also established comprehensive (visual and audio) media to create a widespread negative perception against the Taliban, disrupt the psychological security of the Afghan people, and achieve personal gains.

Mercenary media outlets that currently broadcast in favor of rebels, evil, and corruption outside the country; without credible documents and evidence, they tell fabricated stories of sexual assaults in Taliban prisons for a few bucks, violating all principles of journalism. Not only do they disregard the principle of neutrality, but in their greed for material gain, they also invade the personal privacy of citizens.

In the Arabic language, journalism is called “Sahafat,” and a journalist is referred to as “Sahafi.” Sahafat is derived from the sacred scriptures that were revealed to the prophets by Allah, the Exalted, because they contain no flaws and encompass all truth.

Opposition media based abroad, whose aim is to undermine public opinion, publish and reflect on topics that are entirely fictional and have no basis in reality. In these narratives, a certain direction is always mentioned, which is not present to provide its response and clarification, but is always one-sided; this invasion of personal privacy is in direct conflict with all the principles of journalism.

Rebels and their media staff engage in character assassination of various individuals, use insulting language, and tarnish their reputations with baseless accusations to achieve their personal goals. Since all messages broadcasted by the media have psychological impacts, these false accusations pave the way for spreading hatred, animosity, and distrust in society.

Media should work for four objectives, such as educating, entertaining, leading, and informing; however, the media of evil and corruption, on the contrary, presents savage images, false information, and broadcasts filled with obscenity, which confuses the public mind.

The media of the followers of evil and corruption, alongside their empty propaganda, largely attempts to promote Western culture and obscenity among Afghans. This effort was made during the twenty-year republic by broadcasting vulgar series and films within the country, and they continue to increase their viewership by airing such series.
