U.S. media outlets report that President Donald Trump has removed Attorney General Pam Bondi from her post.
According to a report by Fox News, Bondi was informed of her dismissal during a meeting with Trump on Wednesday evening.
A White House official confirmed to Reuters that the decision followed increasing criticism of Bondi’s conduct, particularly regarding the handling and release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Meanwhile, Trump stated that Bondi will continue her work with the private sector going forward.
