According to reports the United States launched another round of overnight airstrikes on Iran, targeting several key facilities.
According to Axios, citing a U.S. official, Tuesday’s strikes were four to five times larger and more intense than those carried out 10 days earlier.
The report noted the strikes followed U.S. accusations that Iran had attacked commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
The latest escalation comes despite recent progress in talks between Tehran and Washington.
