Syria’s Ministry of Interior has confirmed that clashes between the Druze and Bedouin tribes in Sweida province have left 30 people dead and around 100 seriously injured since last night.

The confrontations are ongoing in the areas around Thaala Military Airbase, Maqous, and Tel Hudud.

The ministry stated that, in coordination with the Ministry of Defense, security forces have been deployed to the area to contain the situation.

Several media outlets have also reported that, in addition to the tribal fighting, armed members of the Druze tribe have engaged in clashes with government forces.
