The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Complaint Hearing has reported that its moral enforcers, during the past week, rescued 17 women from domestic violence in various provinces across the country, demonstrating a commitment to women’s rights.
According to the ministry’s statement, the moral enforcers also saved seven women from forced marriages without their consent in Sar-e-Pul, Faryab, and Laghman provinces.
The report further mentioned that in Khost and Sar-e-Pul provinces, the moral enforcers reconciled two long-standing disputes by turning hostilities into friendships, aimed at promoting unity and eliminating ethnic and linguistic differences. Additionally, in the capital Kabul and Logar province, two skilled sorcerers were arrested and handed over to judicial and legal authorities for legal action.
