The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a ceremony at its Storai Palace to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Afghanistan and China.
According to a statement from Deputy Spokesperson Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the event brought together key figures, including the ministry’s Political Deputy Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, Chinese Ambassador Zhao Xing, diplomats, ministry officials, university professors, students, and Afghan and Chinese business representatives.
Discussions at the ceremony highlighted the history, significance, and progress of Afghanistan-China diplomatic relations. Participants also focused on exploring ways to enhance long-term political, economic, and trade cooperation between the two countries.
It is worth noting that since the Islamic Emirate regained power, China has maintained close relations with Afghanistan across various sectors.
