The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that a military aircraft carrying humanitarian aid has landed at Damascus International Airport.

According to the statement, this is the fifth shipment of humanitarian aid sent by Qatar to Syria, delivering 37 tons of food supplies.

It is worth noting that following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime and the rise to power of the Tahrir al-Sham movement, Qatar has also reopened its embassy in Damascus.
