The Pakistani Taliban (TTP) has accused the Pakistani government of creating a criminal gang under their commander’s name, Umar Malang.

According to TTP’s statement, this gang operates in the Tank district of Dera Ismail Khan province, robbing people on the highway between Karachi and Peshawar.

The Pakistani Taliban further stated that this gang is also involved in drug trafficking and other criminal activities. They claimed that their forces recently attacked the gang, resulting in the killing of its commander, Niaz Ali, also known as Niazak, the son of Mizali.

The TTP further stated that the Pakistani government frequently tries to tarnish their reputation through a range of malicious activities. One such example is the formation of this notorious gang, which they claim was created by Pakistani intelligence agencies and has now been exposed.
