    Afghan Health Ministry Discusses Bilateral Cooperation with Turkish Ambassador

    The acting Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, recently met with Turkey’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Cenk Ünal, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in healthcare.

    According to a statement from the Ministry of Public Health, the meeting focused on expanding Turkey’s ongoing support for hospitals in Afghanistan, enhancing the skills of Afghan healthcare personnel, expediting visas for patients in critical condition, reviewing previous agreements, and implementing the agreed commitments.

    Minister Jalali emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in the health sector, appreciating Turkey’s past assistance while requesting further support to address

    Afghanistan’s healthcare needs.
    Ambassador Ünal reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to continuing and expanding cooperation in the health sector.
