Over the past ten months, thousands of unregistered vehicles have been documented and taxed at customs offices in Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Kunduz, Khost, and Paktia provinces.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the initiative to register and tax undocumented vehicles has been extended until the end of the current solar year, based on decisions made by the Islamic Emirate’s leadership and cabinet.
This effort to register undocumented has been welcomed by citizens countrywide, as it plays a significant role in reducing crime, minimizing traffic accidents, and strengthening public safety.
