The spokesperson for Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, has stated that Israel has failed to uphold its commitments under the ceasefire agreement. As a result, the release of Israeli prisoners will be suspended until further notice.

“In the past three weeks, Hamas leadership has observed repeated violations by the Israeli side and a failure to adhere to the agreement’s conditions. Therefore, we are delaying the release of prisoners and cautioning Israel to fulfill its obligations,” Abu Ubaida said.

He added that Israel has obstructed the return of displaced civilians to northern Gaza and has continued airstrikes and military operations in several areas.
Hamas also accused Israel of preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, describing it as a blatant breach of the agreement.

Hamas reiterated its commitment to the agreement, emphasizing that its adherence depends on Israel fulfilling its obligations.
