The Afghan Ministry of Justice has reported the reclamation of more than 16,000 jeribs (8,188 acres) of state land across four provinces — Kunduz, Ghor, Nimroz, and Urozgan — during the past month.
This land was recovered following thorough verification and assessment by the technical committee tasked with preventing land grabbing.
The report indicates that the majority of the reclaimed land is located in Ghor province, where 8,940 jeribs (419 acres) were returned.
