Saudi Arabia has announced its willingness to host a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss peace efforts in Ukraine.
Following a phone conversation with Putin on Wednesday, Trump mentioned the possibility of meeting him in Saudi Arabia. Speaking to reporters, he indicated that their first in-person meeting could take place in the kingdom.
In an official statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the opportunity to host the meeting and reiterated its commitment to fostering lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine.
