The Pakistani Taliban has announced that a 36-member group, led by Ali Badr from the Bara district of Khyber province, has pledged allegiance to the movement’s leader, Mufti Abu Mansoor Asim (Noor Wali Mehsud).

According to the statement, the group has vowed to remain committed to all of the Pakistani Taliban’s Sharia-based principles.

In its statement, the Pakistani Taliban once again urged other armed groups to join its ranks to strengthen resistance against the Pakistani government.
