The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has announced that Japan will provide six million dollars in assistance to Afghan returnees from neighboring countries and other regions.

An agreement has been signed with the Japanese government to support programs aimed at improving the livelihoods of those returning to Afghanistan.

This six-million-dollar assistance from Japan will focus on sectors such as silk production, greenhouse farming, and dairy production to support the returning Afghan refugees.

The UNHCR emphasized that these programs are designed to strengthen the reintegration of returnees into their home country, with the goal of providing them with sustainable economic opportunities.
