    Iranian Parliament Withdraws Confidence from Economy and Finance Minister

    According to reports from Iranian media, members of the Iranian Parliament have voted to withdraw their confidence from Abdolnasser Hemmati, the country’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, leading to his dismissal from office.

    Following Hemmati’s removal, Rahmatullah Akrami has been appointed as the acting head of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.
