According to information received by Voice of Hindukush from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistani Taliban forces targeted and killed a senior member of the local police (Arbakis), Bazaar Khan Dotaani, in the Rammak Shah area of Parwa district, near Ajmal Road in Dera Ismail Khan.

Sources suggest that he had been involved in tracking several Pakistani Taliban fighters. In an attempt to tarnish their reputation, he was accused of committing thefts and abductions while falsely attributing these actions to Taliban members.
