Under the leadership of Ahmad Massoud, the Resistance Front has engaged in political and military struggles against the caretaker government in Afghanistan for about four years based on false narratives. It has worked to create and strengthen such narratives in Afghanistan, promoting internal conflicts, chaos, and fragmentation, which are rejected among the Afghan people.

In its nearly four-year journey, the Resistance Front has utilized the narrative of ethnic bias for its war in Afghanistan. This front has attempted to create distances among Pashtun, Tajik, Hazara, and other ethnic groups under the pretext of the existence of biases, thereby recruiting soldiers. However, this narrative has proven to be false, and the practical stance of the Afghan people and the caretaker government has consistently exposed their misleading propaganda as lies.

Due to differences over ethnic issues within the Resistance Front, rifts have emerged; in the recent Vienna meeting, which was led by Ahmad Massoud and Yasin Zia of the two factions, representatives of other ethnic groups and key officials of the fallen republic did not participate. Compared to other meetings, this one was less colorful because the Resistance Front has engaged in extensive propaganda to create ethnic biases in Afghanistan and is trying to divide ethnic groups by establishing this narrative. For this reason, some former politicians opposed the Resistance Front and refrained from participating in the Vienna meeting.

The Resistance Front, which advocates for war and destruction in Afghanistan, works to expand ethnic and racial prejudices among the Afghan people, which is a dangerous and harmful path for society, leading to division and conflict. However, the Resistance Front aims to add members to its false ranks and pave the way for destruction.

Alongside other political and military opposition groups to the caretaker government, the Resistance Front also attracts people with ethnic narratives. These efforts are against Afghanistan’s geographical structure and nationhood because Afghanistan is a multi-cultural, linguistic, and ethnic nation, and each ethnic group has its own history, language, and characteristics. Historically, Afghans have stood together against the enemy, united by diverse ethnicities and cultures. However, since the Resistance Front has ignored historical realities, it spreads discord and division among diverse ethnic groups.

Recruiting extremists to the Resistance Front based on ethnic narratives only brings some short-term benefits to this front, but in the long term, it leads the Afghan nation into a crisis and paves the way for internal conflicts and the implementation of enemy schemes. This narrative provides enemies with the opportunity to further divide Afghanistan and continue their nefarious efforts against unity.

Afghans must not become victims of false narratives but instead act based on realities, stand against all false narratives, propaganda, and activities of traders under the names of the Resistance Front and others, and not let Afghanistan become a victim of foreign intelligence games and schemes anymore.
