According to international media reports, the Hamas Islamic movement will not respond to the proposed ceasefire by the Zionist regime of Israel for Gaza.
Reports indicate that Hamas supports the ceasefire plan brokered by mediating countries, Egypt and Qatar.
Available information suggests that the mediators’ proposal outlines a 50-day ceasefire in Gaza, during which discussions will take place on various key matters, including the exchange of remaining prisoners.
As per the proposal, Hamas would release five Zionist prisoners in exchange for 2,500 Palestinians during this period.
