    Uzbekistan’s Ambassador in Kabul, Aybek Usmanov: Trade Volume Between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan Reaches $1.1 Billion

    According to a press release from the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation, Acting Minister Mawlawi Abdul Kabir met with Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Aybek Usmanov, in Kabul.

    During the meeting, Ambassador Usmanov stated that the current volume of trade between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan has reached $1.1 billion and is expected to rise to $2 billion next year.

    Mawlawi Abdul Kabir emphasized the implementation of the Afghan Trans project and other economic initiatives, stating that Afghanistan seeks to support regional stability through the expansion of its economic and trade relations with other countries.

    He also reiterated his criticism of Pakistan’s forced expulsion of refugees, noting that Afghan refugees are facing serious hardships in Pakistan.
