    Woman Rescued from Four-Year Domestic Captivity in Uruzgan; Three Others Freed from Abuse in Nimroz

    The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and Complaints Hearing, has announced that a woman in Uruzgan province was rescued from four years of domestic captivity by her husband, while three other women in Nimroz province were freed from domestic violence and physical abuse.

    The ministry stated that these interventions were carried out through the efforts of provincial moral enforcers and reaffirmed their commitment to protecting women’s rights in light of Islamic principles. It further emphasized that no one will be allowed to violate the rights of women.

    According to the ministry, following initial investigations, the individuals involved have been referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
