The spokesperson for the Governor of Panjshir, Saifuddin Latoon, told the media that a Russian businessman and investor in precious stones, named “Elig,” presented an investment proposal to Governor of Panjshir, Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, during a meeting. The proposal focuses on investing in six emerald mines located in the Hesa-ye-Awal district of Panjshir province.
According to the source, the proposal has been approved by Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha.
Mr. Laton stated that the Russian investor has been assured of comprehensive cooperation in supporting and facilitating all legitimate and legal investments.
