    Passenger Plane Heading for London Crashes in India

    According to the Hindustan Times, an Air India Boeing AI-171 aircraft, which had taken off from Ahmadabad airport en route to London, crashed shortly after takeoff near the airport and caught fire.

    The source reported that the aircraft was carrying 242 passengers, including 12 crew members, and was heading to London’s Gatwick Airport when it went down in a residential area.

    So far, the exact number of casualties from the incident has not been confirmed.
