A senior Iranian official has stated that Iran’s airstrikes on Israel will continue in the coming days and that American military bases in the region will also be added to its list of targets.

Speaking to CNN on Saturday, the official said, “We will intensify our attacks on Israel, and we will target the defense systems of any country that seeks to support Israel’s air defense.”

CNN, citing the unnamed official, reported that Iran’s actions are being carried out in line with international law and within the framework of legitimate defense in response to Israeli aggression.

Separately, a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) told Fars News Agency that the attacks will expand further in the coming days, and that U.S. military bases in the region will also be targeted.

It is worth noting that, just hours after Israeli regime strikes last night, the IRGC launched an operation titled Wa’dat al-Sadiq 3 (The True Promise 3). So far, six rounds of missile attacks have targeted various Israeli cities, particularly Tel Aviv, killing three Israelis and injuring more than one hundred others.

The direct exchange of attacks between Tehran and Tel Aviv is unfolding amid calls from the international community, including the UN Security Council, the European Union, and several countries, for both sides to exercise restraint. However, Iran and Israel have remained firm in their positions, as tensions escalate further in the region.
