The Supreme Court announced that a longstanding feud between two tribes in Badakhshan province has been resolved through reconciliation, following the efforts of Mufti Hafizullah Mohammadi, head of the province’s Court of Appeals, along with several tribal elders and influential local figures.
The feud dates back three years and stemmed from a murder involving two tribes from the villages of Kato Bala and Doabi in Tagab district, in which one person was killed.
Since the interim government assumed power, there has been a significant decline in social conflicts countrywide. Moreover, with the efforts of local officials and tribal elders, hundreds of feuds have successfully been resolved.
