The Ministry of Higher Education has provided laboratory equipment worth 2.5 million Afghanis to the Engineering Faculty of Paktia University.

The new additions include machines for testing concrete compressive strength, unconfined compressive strength, direct shear of soil, aggregate mixing, water measurement, along with several other essential laboratory devices.

The Engineering Faculty’s laboratory at Paktia University now holds equipment worth a total of 70 million Afghanis. Last year, in addition to the surveying section, the soil, gravel, concrete and asphalt units were also brought into full operation.
