The Baloch separatist group, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), stated in a press release that its armed fighters carried out five separate attacks, killing nine Pakistani soldiers and injuring six others.

The statement added that the attacks targeted Pakistani military patrols, posts, and bases in the Panjgur, Awaran, and the Hoshab and Prom areas of Balochistan.

According to the BLF, in addition to causing casualties, they also inflicted significant financial losses on the Pakistani army.

The Balochistan Liberation Front is one of the main armed groups fighting against the Pakistani army in Balochistan. They claim these operations are part of their struggle for an “Independent Balochistan” and vow to continue such attacks.
