Syrian state television reported that overnight clashes erupted in the country’s east between the Syrian army and US-backed QSD militias.
Both sides reportedly exchanged fire with light and semi-heavy weapons.
The clashes are reportedly continuing intermittently on the outskirts of Daraa and Deir ez-Zor.
No information has yet been released by Syrian media regarding casualties or damage on either side.
