General Director of Intelligence, Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq: True Independence Means Protecting and Reforming Cultural Identity and Civilization, Not Just Land and Geography
Speaking at the ceremony marking the 106th anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence from British colonial rule, the Director General of Intelligence, Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, stated that independence is not merely the protection of a land or geography, but also the safeguarding and improvement of its culture and civilization.
Mr. Wasiq added: “People should not use excuses such as saying this is an Islamic system, and therefore, occupation will return afterwards. Such thoughts must be removed from minds. The Islamic system is a strong system.”
He further described obedience to the Amir, along with mutual love and unity, as the key to maintaining victory and success.
