The Ministry of Higher Education announced that a standard dormitory and hostel named “Dar al-Salihin” has been inaugurated and handed over for use at Kandahar University to accommodate 1,000 students.
According to the ministry, the dormitory is equipped with all necessary facilities, including regular water and electricity systems, three daily meals, and a dedicated sports area.
Meanwhile, Kandahar University officials have called the opening of this dormitory an important step in addressing the challenges faced by non-local students.
