The 2102 Brigade of the 221 Shahid Aftab Division in Parwan province has seized a cache of heavy-weapons ammunition in Khak Ali, Sheikh al-Ali district.
The brigade’s media office told Voice of Hindukush that the recovered cache included 40 mortar rounds, 47 heavy machine gun rounds, and four grenade rounds.
Sources reported that the ammunition was recovered from the remains of a demolished house, with no arrests made in connection to the cache.
Parwan Brigade officials stressed that security forces are committed to maintaining safety by locating and seizing all illegally stored military equipment.
