The Ministry of Justice announced that more than 18 jeribs of land in the first and second phases of Kabul’s Arya Township, located in the city’s 10th district, have been officially recognized as state property.

The ministry said the ruling was issued by the Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases following a review of documents concerning 166 jeribs of land in the township.

According to the statement, the case had earlier been referred to the court by the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing.

The ministry stressed that preventing land grabbing and reclaiming grabbed property remain key priorities of the Islamic Emirate, which enabled the commission to pursue these objectives.
