According to international media reports, Houthi fighters in Yemen raided a United Nations office in Sana’a, detaining 20 employees.
Sources said the detainees include five Yemeni nationals and 15 foreign staff members.
The raid took place on Saturday when armed Houthi forces entered the UN’s local office building in the capital.
According to Agence France-Presse, citing a UN official who requested anonymity, UNICEF representative Peter Hawkins is among those being held.
The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack, alleging that the office and its employees were spying for Israel and the United States.
