Palestinian media reported that Israeli forces carried out overnight airstrikes on Gaza, martyring 42 people and injuring many others.

According to sources, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the military to carry out intensified attacks on Gaza.

Israeli officials said the strikes were in response to gunfire from Hamas fighters, a claim the group strongly denied.

Local sources reported that Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire since its announcement, often without providing any justification.

Hamas, meanwhile, reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire and accused Israel of deliberately seeking pretexts to undermine the agreement.
