The Ministry of National Defense reports that forces from Surobi 3rd Infantry Brigade of the 313 Central Corps have uncovered an old cache of BM-21 Russian rockets in the Darband Bato Khil gorge of Kabul’s Khak Jabar district.
According to the ministry, the cache contained 18 BM-21 launcher rockets along with 21 warheads.
Officials noted that security forces have previously uncovered similar weapons and ammunition caches in different parts of the country.
